The maritime district lives with special intensity these holidays. The whole Grau dresses up for the celebration of various shows.
They are the popular festivities in homage to the patron of the city, Saint Peter. At these parties, which take place in the week of June 29, you can enjoy a wide variety of activities such as the Sea Ride, the offering of flowers to Saint Peter and the maritime parade.
The streets of the Maritime area of the Grau de Castelló are filled with noise and color with the various fireworks displays held in them; bullfighting, traditional musical performances, entertainment shows, dances with allegorical and traditional figures as protagonists.
All this is enlivened with the "Torrá de la sardina", popular food based on grilled sardines, bread and wine, considered one of the most emblematic and representative festive events of the maritime district.
